“A nation where all children thrive and have equitable access to good food and opportunities for physical activity."
To improve the health of our nation's most vulnerable children by transforming food systems and the places kids live, learn and play.
Access to good food and opportunities for physical activity are critical components of improving children’s overall health. For more than 80 years, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation has used its voice to advocate for equitable access to good food and physical activity, and to bring meaningful change to our food systems. As one of the nation's most active supporters of improving the quality of food that people eat, the foundation has provided upwards of $230 million in funding over the years and continues to invest in the good ideas that communities bring to the table.
Through the W.K. Kellogg Foundation Food & Community Program, the foundation targets investments to improve school food systems, increase access to good food and physical activity, and shape the national movement for healthy eating and active living.
